Born on Halloween, Miss Shaya came to see me in November with her parents for lots and lots of cuddles. I photographed Adria and Chris’s maternity photos in September so I was anxiously awaiting to meet their newest addition. Adria requested lots of “girly” pinks for the session which I loved. I know Adria all the way from high school, so being able to share in this special time of Shaya’s life is just so precious!
Benjamin’s Newborn Photos-October 2014
I had two problems with this session: #1. I loved every single shot and every single angle, that to choose the best was absolute torture! How could I say one photo was better than the other photo when they were all so precious!! #2. For the same reasons, it was nearly impossible to choose which images I wanted to showcase in this blog post! I could seriously have shown every single image that I took, but I decided that to do so would become redundant. So I have chosen some (only some) of my favourites from Benjamin’s session and arranged them here for you! By the way, you have to check out Benjamin’s chin! Cutest ever!!!! This family is so lovely and although mom spent quite a bit of time with us in the hospital where I work as an RN, I never actually got the chance to be her nurse myself. So I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her while we were taking the photos. Big sister, Dessa, is a total sweetheart and seems like she will be a lot of help to mom with her new baby brother at home. I truly hope you love these photos as much as I do! Please enjoy!!
Kipton is 6 months old!!
I don’t often get the opportunity to photograph 6 month old babies (unless, of course, I’m related to them!! lol). So having Kipton in my studio was a huge treat! The best part was recruiting my daughter to keep Kipton smiling, although I think they just entertained each other! What a handsome little boy! I can’t wait to watch him grow up!!! Please come back and see me sometime Kipton! And bring your sisters with you!!!
Bernard Maternity Photos
Isaac
Yay for my very first blog post!! What a learning curve!!! And I’m so glad that it features such a handsome little man like Isaac! Isaac was born 6 weeks early (he had better plans than to wait until his mom and I could get some maternity photos done) and had to stay in the NICU unit for the first two weeks of his life. However, when he did come to see me he was less than 5 pounds of pure gorgeous!! He hated being away from mom and dad though, so most of the shots we got were with them, although I don’t think they minded!! We also got to feature him with the new airplane prop and he did such a great job modeling it for me!!!
